Barney is a mechanical engineer from Monash University in Australia, who has been an integral part of plant design and analysis work at companies such as: AREVA, Siemens and Alstom in Europe; and more recently, within a smaller start-up, Vast Solar in Australia.  

 

His technical skill set ranges from detailed component design through to overall power plant modelling, configuration and operational strategy development; meeting needs in both daily business and R&D.

 

This in-depth knowledge base combined with financial modelling skills has led to progressive opportunities to advise on optimised project solutions, as well as internal process development and business level planning and optimisation.
